September 24, 2012. The Guidotti family together with the Alcantara family moved in to another house. At their new house, Daniel Cruz/Guidotti (Coco Martin) recently arrived from shopping and had a conversation with Katerina Alcantara (Julia Montes). Daniel and Katerina are both happy living at their new house while Nathaniel "Nathan" Montenegro (Paolo Avelino) secretly watched them from afar. Later that time, Johanna Montenegro (Melissa Ricks) came to talk to Emilia "Emily" Cardenas/Guidotti (Dawn Zulueta). Johanna confronted Emily about the things that recently happened within their family and that she wants Emily to marry her father, Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez). Johanna even apologized to Emily for being so rude back when her mother, Jane Bonifacio/Montenegro (Eula Valdez) was still alive. Emily, on the other hand, accepted Johanna's apologies and thanked her for accepting her as Marco's future wife. After awhile, when Johanna was on her way home, she had a conversation with Daniel. Daniel and Johanna are very happy that they finally reconciled and that everything went well. Meanwhile, Tomas Alcantara (Joem Bascon) visited Miguel Ramos (Nonie Buencamino) and gave him an update about Marco and Emily's relationship. However, Miguel asked for monetary assistance from Tomas, so that he could let Emily feel his presence even though he is hiding from the authorities. The day after, at the Guidotti's new house, Johanna fetched Emily, inviting her for a girl's night out, since they missed each other's company. Later that time, Johanna brought Emily to a restaurant wherein there was nobody there and the place was so dark. Unexpectedly, Marco together with Daniel, Katerina, Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces), Tomas, James Ocampo (John Medina) and Luisa Alcantara/Reyes (Sharmaine Buencamino) surprised Emily. Marco then kneeled down and proposed to Emily wherein Emily was very flattered. Emily, on the other hand, was very surprised and said yes to Marco without second thoughts.
