January 29, 2013. At the safe house of the western Yangdonese, Princess Areeyah/Mikay Maghirang (Kathryn Bernardo) is very surprised as well as disappointed after she knew that Ashi Behati (Gretchen Barretto) is still alive. Princess Areeyah is also very determined to get the kingdom back because she knows that the rebels won't stop until they rule over the kingdom. Meanwhile, inside the castle, Dasho Yuan/Gino Dela Rosa (Daniel Padilla) was captured and locked him up on a cell. Gino wanted to get out of jail so that he could rescue and save Mikay from the rebels. Gino had no idea that Mikay is already safe with the other western Yangdonese. At that time, Vicky Ortiz (Shey Bustamante) is also a captive of the eastern rebels wherein she tried to help out Gino by letting him stay calm. Vicky informed Gino that he can't do anything to escape behind bars because most of the rebels are watching them.
Meanwhile, Ashi gathered her members wherein they talked about what would be their next step to rule over the kingdom Yangdon. During their meeting, Ashi asked Drukpah Minister Shivaji (Arthur Acuna) to surely kill Princess Areeyah so that they won't have a problem anymore. After awhile, Dasho Jao (Enrique Gil) came and showed everbody there that he is going to be the new king. Later that time, Dasho Jao together with Behati went to see King Anand (Albert Martinez) who is now admited temporarily at the hospital. Behati then showed Jao that she is more powerful than King Anand.
